2. Age restriction
This site discusses gambling and is intended solely for adults of legal gambling age in their jurisdiction — generally 18 in Great Britain, Australia and most of Canada, and 21 in most jurisdictions of the United States. By using this site you confirm that you meet that requirement.
3. What the site is
Belmond publishes informational and educational content about the mathematics, rules and history of gambling. It is not a gambling operator, holds no gambling licence, accepts no wagers and processes no gambling transactions. Nothing on the site is gambling advice, legal advice or financial advice, and nothing on it is an offer to gamble or an inducement to do so. The site is provided “as is”. We take care over accuracy — our editorial standards describe how — but we do not warrant that the content is complete, current or free from error. Rules, odds, published return-to-player figures and regulations vary by venue and jurisdiction and change over time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Belmond is not liable for any loss or damage — including gambling losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential loss — arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or anything linked from it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Gambling law varies by country, state and province, and in some places gambling is prohibited. Nothing here states that any activity is lawful where you are. Complying with the law that applies to you is your responsibility.
7. Intellectual property
The text, tables and design of this site are ours. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial portions, or reproduce the site in whole or in part for a commercial purpose, without written permission.
Photographs and diagrams are third-party works used under the licences named in each image’s credit line — several are public domain or CC0, and others are Creative Commons licences requiring attribution. Those licences, not these terms, govern your reuse of the images. Trade marks and product names belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and citation only.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use this site unlawfully, attempt to interfere with its operation or security, scrape it in a way that imposes an unreasonable load, or reproduce it in a manner likely to mislead anyone about who published it.

We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. A link is not an endorsement, and no outbound link on this site is an affiliate or tracking link.
